I’ll start by offering some information that I’ve obtained through Everett’s special ed teacher, occupational therapist, personal aide and tutor. They report that Everett has been calmer, is more focused on his work, is more engaged socially, more ‘present’, asking and answering questions beginning with “what, where and when” with more relevance. None of these folks knew about HBOT in effort to keep the information as objective as possible. Personally, as a speech language pathologist, I have noticed these things as well, as I work with him daily on his academic work among everything else in his daily routine. I have also noticed that he has demonstrated improved attention to detail, improved handwriting and reading ability at home (the standardized reading ability scores at the school over the past few weeks also objectively indicate more consistency over the last three weeks, per the school psychologist) since about 3-4 weeks. Also, he has been trying to exert independence in a negative way (and getting into trouble for it although he has calmed down somewhat, thankfully). Everett still has a long way to go however, I am happy to see him progress and am appreciative of what you are doing to help us make Everett be the best that he can be.
